Participation in the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s 　”Industry-Government-Academia Partnership on the Circular Economy”

Today we are pleased to inform that PV Reborn Association has joined the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s “Industry-Government-Academia Partnership on the Circular Economy”.

The Circular Economy is an initiative that aims to balance economic development and environmental preservation, and emphasizes the efficient use of resources and minimization of waste. By moving away from the traditional “disposable” linear economy and promoting the reuse and recycling of products and resources, the goal is to create an economic system that can both reduce environmental impact and achieve economic benefits.

Participation Report

The PV Reborn Association has joined the “Industry-Government-Academia Partnership on the Circular Economy” led by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. In this partnership, each participating organization will share its technology and know-how to work toward the realization of a sustainable resource-recycling society.

Participation in the First General Meeting

The Association participated in the “First General Meeting of the Industry-Government-Academia Partnership on the Circular Economy Launch Event,” held on Friday, December 22, 2023. At this meeting, representatives from industry, government, and academia made congratulatory speeches and gave an overview of the partnership. The Association will further promote the recycling and reborn of solar panels in the Circular Economy through active exchange of information and cooperation.

Future development

Through METI’s participation in the partnership, the Association will continue to further promote initiatives related to the circular economy. We will also collaborate with domestic and international partners and stakeholders to improve the sustainability of the industry as a whole.
